Welcome to
El Pedregoso

Chill Out
in Paradise

Welcome to El Pedregoso, where adventure and relaxation meet in the heart of Patagonia. Nestled on the shores of Lake Cholila and surrounded by pristine rivers, lakes, and towering mountains, our two unique lodges offer an unforgettable escape for nature lovers and fly-fishing enthusiasts alike.

History, art
and flavors
that Inspire

Pedro Torres’ original dream has been revitalized and is now in the hands of Pablo and Marisi, who have masterfully created a harmonious blend of decoration, warm hospitality, and the unique magic of this place.

The kitchen will be led by young chefs, with the classic roasted lamb prepared in the quincho on weekends.

Over the years, artist friends who have stayed here have left behind their works, which now adorn our home. Among them, you can admire the photographs by artist Matilde Marín, the collection of watercolor flies by Italian illustrator Laura Martello, and the ironic wooden boards created on-site by RAP, the pseudonym of Roman writer and illustrator Chiara Rapaccini. Additionally, an oil painting of our river, created by Carolina Otamendi, graces the fireplace, adding a special touch to the atmosphere.

El Pedregoso:
A Beacon of Sustainability

El Pedregoso is an inspiring example of sustainability in action. This unique corner of the world has become a model of energy self-sufficiency thanks to the implementation of a state-of-the-art solar panel system supported by an advanced battery bank.

This system not only provides clean, renewable energy to the two lodges but also powers the homes of the entire surrounding community. In addition to its commitment to sustainable energy, El Pedregoso has embraced the philosophy of food self-sufficiency.

Here, organic gardens thrive under the dedicated care of the residents, yielding an abundance of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

These gardens not only nourish those who live and visit here but also reconnect everyone with the natural cycles of the earth, fostering a deeper appreciation for sustainable living and biodiversity.

In the fields, free-range chickens roam freely, living healthy lives and contributing to the balance of the local ecosystem.

These animals provide high-quality eggs and serve as a symbol of the harmony between humans and nature that defines this project. At El Pedregoso, every corner tells a story of respect for the environment, where innovation meets rural traditions to create a sustainable way of life that inspires all who visit, leaving a lasting impression on every guest.
